Worldwide Tropical Cyclone Names

basically they are just names.

cause enough damage and they retire that name.

smaller storm names can be recycled.

They set up an alphabetical list of womens names ( if they used mens names, they'd be himmicanes) in advance of the season and assign them to tropical storms, some of which eventually become hurricanes.
