How do they conceive to create mules? Is it done in the labarotory?

I was wondering how they mate a horse with a donkey. IS it done in the laborotory and the egg is implanted into a donkey/horse? or they forcefully mate them. They are totally different sizes and different looking. Surely they will not like each other to breed on their own.

They will mate on their own. Guys are horny, no matter what the species, lol, and the stallions or jacks (horse or donkey) will readily mate with the other species.  They are not always different sizes, you can have them be the same size. You can also breed a draft horse (think budweiser clydesdale) with a Thoroughbred (racing horse) quite easily and they are very different in size and look.

  You can do it by AI, but most just do live cover.

Im no farmer, but id think you could just use artificial insimination, ie you dont need to fertilize the egg externally.
