  1. Everybody with a drivers license is on their mailing list and will get a invitation

  2. Names for potential jurors are selected from the voter registration list

  3. In Illinois it's from your driver's license.

It used to be from our voter's registration.

  4. Anyone with a drivers licese

  5. From what I understand it's not names in a hat or anything but they randomly get names they have to go and answer some questions depending on the answers given they will be chosen or not chosen for jury duty.

And it's not driver's license it's whether or not you're registered to vote.

  6. Municipalities randomly pull names from voter registrations and/or drivers' licenses.  That's the only way potential jurors are selected.

  7. Drivers License is how they do it in my state. I am not sure if it varies from state to state though. Some say it is when you register to vote. My mom never had a driver's license and was selected, and she was registered to vote in her home state.
