How do they do the TRUTH commercials?

Are the truth commercials recorded on the site of actual cigarette companies? Are the crowd of people around them normal people walking around the streets. Why are some of their faces blurred out?

  1. those are actual street recordings. The faces that are blurred are the people who would not sign a release to appear in the commercial.
