How do they get the letters inside those boiled lollies??

a work mate brought in some boiled lollies from a wedding with the names of the bride and groom in the middle then we started to wonder how they do it?? the words are all the way through as i bit mine in half to see if it was just at the ends?? can anyone answer my question. it bugs me not knowing!!!

They put edible wax over the paper, and the paper is made from a special dissolvable material to put it inside the lolly they have a minute syringe and they can push the material out, then the lolly causes the material to expand
