  1. They don't. Well, some artists have put "backwards masking" in songs, where they play a tape backwards and mix it in with a recording, but it's usually for artistic effect, or as a joke. Humans can't really interpret the sounds and receive some kind of "programming" from them, that's just urban legend hogwash.
