I've noticed that there are two types of watermelons. Seedless, or not. Do they remove the seeds to make seedless or are they just two different watermelons?

  1. just 2 different.

  2. they are raised to produce a watermelon that has no seeds.  when the plant "blooms,"  only the ovary swells producing the fruit but no seeds.  this is then starts from the beginning to continue to produce fruit.

  3. they genetically enginere watermelons to have no seeds then let them grow, harvest, and sell

  4. 2 different kinds of watermelon, kind of like seedless grapes.
