i mean by how come people outside cant see in?

  1. There are several factors including the light differential outside versus inside and the visible light transmission of the window film. Metallic window films are reflective and act like a one way mirror during the daylight hours. The more metal (and the type of metal used) the more the reflectivity.


  2. How do they work?

    Well, a tinted window is just a normal window with a type of film covering it. You can get different shades to make the tint lighter/darker.

  3. They work because the light source is coming from outside of the car. You can see when your in the car because the inside of the car has little light compared to outside. You can test this out by waiting for it to get dark outside. Turn on all of your lights in your house and look outside into the dark. You wont be able to see much. Then turn off all the lights in the house and look outside again. You will be able to see a lot more. Thats the idea with tint.
