How do transfer a VHS to DVD?

I am electronicly challanged. My dad is looking for a way to transfer all his old VHS's to DVD. IS there a recorder that will do that. If so, any suggestions on a good one?

Also, how difficult is it to do.

Best Buy has a bunch of them that have DVD and VHS in the same deck for around $100. I would go to a nice Best Buy store, one of the newer ones, as they are much better now a days. They will help you out. If you want a good one, then go with one that is priced in the middle or a brand that you recognize. Electronics are about all made in a few spots, now a days it's the service you get from the retailer and the functions that you want.
