How do u advance to the next level in yahoo answers?

You gain points by answering questions, voting on questions that in a voting period, and rating an answer that's been selected or voted "best answer."  You move from level to level when you've achieved various numbers of points.

See your avatar at the left side of the main page?  Click on where your points are it'll take you to a big old chart that tells you how many points you must have before reaching that level.
