  1. yes its possible...... glue them

  2. Put the 12 nails on a small plate or tray, and place the tray on top of the one nail that's nailed into the wood.

  3. Lay one down on it's side and put 5 nails on top of that one with the heads hooking onto the neck going different ways. put one more on top parallel with it's head opposite to the other ones.

Then pick up the whole thing by the two parallel ones and balance it on the one in the wood.

  4. Easy. You need 1 long nail, and 12 shorter nails. All the nails need heads with a decent diameter.

Take the long nail and hammer it part way into a block of wood.

Now take one of the shorter nails, and hang it point down from the head of the long nail. Rest the point of the short nail against the shaft of the long nail for stability.

Now work your way around the head of the long nail, hanging the other nails. You should be able to hang 5 or 6 nails directly from the long nail, then start a second row of hangers with the remaining nails.

With a little care, you could probably get a lot more than a dozen nails to hang from the first.

  5. Nail acrobatics - Instruct students to balance 12 nails on one nail hammered into a two inch square block of wood. (Note: Lay down one nail. Put one nail ACROSS that nail, lay the next nail in the opposite direction until all 10 nails are lying on the one nail. Now put the 12th nail PARALLEL to the first nail and put the head at the opposite end. Now gently put your fingers to the ends of the first and last nail you put in place. Pick up all the nails and balance on top of the nail in the block of wood. That is the center of gravity of all 12 nails.)

  6. take the block of wood that has one nail in it turn it over so the nail head is on the bottom take the twelve nails and nail them into the side that is facing up and tadaa you have twelve nails balanced on the head of one
