You DO NOT need 45 answers in 30 days. The badges are renewed each sunday not monthly. To get a badge you need alot of best answers.

The rumour is that you have to answer 45 questions in that sub category in a 30 day period. You also need to have a best answer percentage of 10% or more.

This is all rumour based on many users observations, as the Yahoo! Team refuse to reveal the criteria for the badge.

you just have to answer many questions and if the asker pick you as the best answer then you'll get more points (10points) and don't ask questions coz they will deduct it from your points. By logging in everyday give you 1 point and to answer questions, give you 2 points.
