How do u become a flight attendent?

The way I did this in 2000(?) for Southwest Airlines was this:

1.  Apply online at airline website of your choice.

2.  Get invited to panel interview at base...Fly to base HQs on their dime for a day.

3.  Get selected for 2nd interview?

4.  Get selected to month long course on your dime.  If you pass with 90% or better on exams, you are in.  If not, you go home.  89%?  Go home.  Simple as that.

You will work a lot on your off time cleaning up planes as the flight attendant union has little pull these days.

I got invited for a second interview, but I got a scholarship to go back to school 3 weeks into that spring semester, so I declined the call that came when I walked in the door to my house fresh from a midterm.

I did not have the cash to spend a month at a hotel doing nothing but studying in Dallas with no guarantees of anything as it was...

go to the airline's website & look for the careers section. You have to be ready to go to their base though, ex: WestJet, you have to fly to Calgary and live there to do the job. It's really a great job, you can basically do it anywhere if you have the right criteria & enough money to travel there.
