How do u become a parks/forest ranger and what do u need to know. any information would b great!?

Go to USA hot jobs the openings are often listed there, and typically they want you to fill out and turn in a park specific application.

U have to go to Uni...it takes about 2 to 3 years and worth it. You don't give an age, so you can start at school or go through an adult learning school, or info centre....Good luck and it is really worth it.........RoyM............

Call your local park's department and find out how. There are tests you have take and pass, but make sure you know how to reach community organizations to help you find out more. Parks and forest rangers usually have extensive knowledge of the outdoors - the history of the land and they are trained by various agencies to save lives and educated people. You need to pass a few courses and I believe be certified in CPR as well. Just a little info.
