How do u burn torrent avi files to a dvd?

I tried to burn it but my dvd player wont play it

You need something to convert to DVD format. Like Nero Vision or some other type of DVD creating software. It's not as simple as burning a video file and expecting a DVD player to play it.

Movie DVDs has a special file system. So you have to use a Movie DVD making program to for this task.

ther is no need any special programme to burn the avi file download with P2P (torrent) programme.

just use the xp or vista inbuild burning (send to dvd) programme or Nero Burning rome but note you should have appropriate Codec pack to burn avi files

you need to download an iso a mount an image to the iso an iso is a virtual disk drive it will make your computer think you have a new disk drive when you mount the image it will make your computer this that a disk is in the drive then it will let you burn is right hope this helps

Download a program called winAvi which converts it so when its finished downloading convert it to  DVD file then save it onto your desktop or any other chosen location then download a program called DVDshrink then go to DVDshrink then full disc back-up then drag the DVD file you converted with winAvi into DVDshrink when that has been dragged into the dvd structure section of DVDshrink press back-up and choose your disc drive.
