How do u cast a circle?

There are a few ways to cast circle.  You can assemble a white crytal quartz onto the end of you wand and as you go in a circle imagine a white light protecting you.

YOu can use white candles to form a white light circle around you.

Draw a pentagram with a circle middle and the ends lit by candles.

Use your index finger to draw one while mental picturing white light surround you.

Yeah you might need to read up on the subject. That's a pretty broad question.

A Magick Circle is a sacred space that you have cleaned physically and energetically (with the elements). The purpose is to have no external influences and to protect you. The same goes for the Ritual bath, washing away any energy that would interfere with your working, to clear your mind and help you focus. (physical dirt and grime holds energy, too)

You can go down to a book store (such as Border's) and check out

the "occult" section.  Browse the books on ceremony.  

Most used book stores have an "occult" or "metaphysical" section

as well.

The more important question for you to answer for yourself is *why* you are casting a circle.  If you don't know the reason why you would cast a circle and what its purpose is, the how doesn't matter much.
