How do u change the pictures type?

i have like bitmap image and i want to change it to JPG file.

i really need to change it please help

Here is the easy way to save photos as jpg/jpeg files. Right click on the photo click "save picture as" check the box at the bottom is set to jpg and "save" and the file is automatically saved as jpg.

jpeg files are more lossy than bitmap so you image quility will go down

Open it up with Paint.

Go to File -> Save as... and down the bottom, change the file type into JPEG.

The previous answer is correct. Open your Bitmap file to any Picture or Graphic software (e.g. MS Paint) and save it on a different extension name (e.g. .JPG, .JEPG, .TIF, etc.)
