How do u clean sticky cards?

Question

my friends and i are big card players we can always be found in the basement playing some kind of card game but after were finnish playing my cards always end up sticky probly from the sweat from our hands and i odnt no how to get them smoother and they are getting harder to shuffle and deal also i've already gone throught 3 decks and it sems pointless to throw away good decks b/c there sticky so how do u get it off

Better playing cards are made of high grade laminated papers. You can lightly wash them with a wet cloth but not immerse them in water. If you do this often enough, they will degrade before their time.

If you want truly washable cards that can be immersed in soapy water, then buy a deck of washable playing cards. There are a few brands but the best of the bunch is the KEM brand. Yes, they are expensive but, heck, they'll last a lifetime.

I just dust mine with talcum powder.  However, you can clean them with cold water and mild soap; wipe with a damp cloth a few cards at a time, rinse immediately, wipe dry.  

You might also consider washing your hands before and during the game.
