How do u connect 2 computers for a file transfer??

You need a crossover cable and both computers then need to be set up on the same workgroup.

No, You will fry your usb ports and possibly the entire motherboard. Use a crossover ethernet cable instead or crate one yourself from a regular ethernet cable. Go to wikipedia.org and search for crossover. When you create/buy one just connect it to the 2 computers, and set up a home network or in vista, just enable file sharing.
