    49w^2 - 1 = 0

    => (7w)^2 - (1)^2 = 0

    => (7w + 1)(7w - 1) = 0

    => (7w + 1) = 0 or (7w - 1) = 0

    => w = - 1/7 or w = 1/7

    ANSWERS:

    w = +/- 1/7
