Hacks, fraud, identity theft. That's how. Don't fall for it. Don't submit any info. Don't even click the links. It could s***w you over. If you have already done so, try to remember all the info you submitted. Scan your computer for viruses & remove/quarantine any potentially dangerous data. Regarding your submitted information, try to contact the organizations that maintain such information and let them know you may have fallen for an identity theft scam. Contact the 3 major credit report bureaus & check your recent credit history. (freecreditreport.com was recommended to me for this, but you have to give them a ton of info for membership & they will stay on the phone with you forever if you try to cancel your membership before they charge you, so be prepared.) Also, if you've logged into any sites that maintain important data, like an online banking site, you should change your passwords to all such sites after you've scanned for viruses.
