  1. im answering if ur kayaking at the sea, but maybe u can adapt it anywhere else as well.

as the kayak is going on to the shore,

while ur butt is in the canoe,

with 4fingers holding the paddle and the thumb holding on into the insides of the seat of ur canoe,

swing one leg over into the water,

then use your (two) hands to push urself and bring ur butt on top of the other side of your canoe.

so, at that time, the first foot will land on the ground, then u can swing the other leg over, and land with both feet on the ground, while ur hands are still on the canoe.

watch out for the paddle and ur partner if ur riding for two.

make sure u dont stand in the canoe. bad idea..

  2. You tip it over to get out.  I'm guessing.

  3. Catch-ee is right about a "dry" exit.  However, for a "wet" exit, (if you're upside down in the water,) bang on the sides of the boat to alert your companions that you're about to exit, then drop down and surface beside the kayak, and HOLD ON.

  4. very carefully

  5. Are you kidding me? I'm 14 and I know how to exit kayak.

First, it depends on what kind of kayak. Open top, Semi-Open, or White Water. For open tops you just paddle like heck until the bow is on land. Then when that kayak is about halfway on shore, just stand up wand walk out. Always works for me. You also exit a semi-open top this way. When exiting a closed top(White Water) try to bring the kayak parallel to the shore and then take out one leg put it on land and then stand up. It's actually not hard once you get the hang of it.

  6. I do white water kayaking and I have to be able to get out fast so what I do is I paddle fast at the shore and lean back... then when I slide up onto shore i pull my spray skirt and hop out before I start to go back in... it might take some practice but it looks hardcore when you get down.
