Well, since this is posted in boats and boating, I'm assuming you're looking for something in that genre.

If you have a boat, then you have acces to waterways.  You can get inexpensive disposable cameras and take pictures of remote or out-of-the-way places only viewable from a boat.  You can put your pictures into albums and post them online.  You could also start collecting interesting things like shells, driftwood, or river polished rocks.
