  1. dont listen to them i have a 12 in Alpine type r that i accidentally punched about four small holes into theface where the logo is and so i went to the hardware store and bought some clear sealant in a tube(the kind that is flexible then waited for a thick layer of that to dry and then applied some super glue over thetop just to be safe and thesubs been bumpin for months....these guys dont know theyre just guessing or going on what theyve heard......a hole in the cone portion of a subwoofer can compromise the sub but is easily remedied with silicone flexible type sealants unless the crack or hole is so large that it is impossible to cover

  2. I dont know how bad the crack is but You could try this because it worked for me on my subs. Mix up some JB Quick, same thing as JB weld it just sets up within 4 mintues.. lightly go over the crack smoothing it wider than the crack so it forms a wide bead to hold both sides together..

This happend 3 years ago.. I had a pair of memphis 10's and somehow someone left thier cellphone on one sub and well it put a nice crack in it but the jb weld worked great because they still play like they did before it happened.. The only bad thing is that it will have a grey color spot where the JB weld will be.. Good luck..

  3. I hope that it was either old or just some generics. Because that is done. You would have to send that back to the factory for a recone. You could look for a sub recone kit, but it will be no where near as good as it was new.

  4. I'm pretty sure it is toast, homie.

  5. umm u can try some silicon man
