How do u fix a gameboy screen?

Someone stepped on my screen(gameboy advanced SP) and it cracked and now is broken to where there is something that covers the screen,is it forever broken or is there a way to fix it cause i love my game boy,had it for years.I am really desperate. D':

Too bad no more warranty...Try to give that `thing` at a  trusted repair shop since its very valuable for you or try to buy a DS.

I think you should take a hammer and just slam the screen in until it works. If that doesnt work, send a letter in to the gameboy company and tell them their product was defective and maybe ull get a new one :-D
