You can get a Heatran by going to Stark Mountain, found on Route 227 outside the Survival Zone (only after defeating the game).

Use Rock Smash on some breakable rocks, and then Strength. See those stairs? Push the boulder down the stairs. Go east, then north. Push the southern rock east, and then push the middle boulder north. Go north and up the stairs and push the boulder and go down the stairs, and then up the next set of stairs before going east.

Then use Rock Smash and up the stairs, then push the boulder and go up two sets of stairs before going through the door.

You'll meet Buck. You know the drill with double battles.

Go east, north, down the second set of stairs, then north, west, up more stairs and you'll do a trainer battle.

Go west, north, east, up the stairs, and into the cave.

Buck takes the stone. Follow him by using an Escape Rope to get out of there.

You'll find Buck at his grandpa's house. You'll talk and he finally agrees to put the stone back.

To make sure he does, go back and use the same steps you used to get in, or you can do the following (since you have access to Rock Climb):

1. East, down the stairs, west, go north after the trainers. Then use Rock Smash and then Rock Climb.

2. East, Rock Climb down, east, north, Rock Climb between trainers and go through the door.

Instead of finding the stone, you find something else instead: Heatran! It can be either male or female (I caught a female. Dont' ask how it can have genders, that's how I caught mine).

Do not use Ground-type moves on it! It'll only do one thing: faint Heatran! Use Water-type moves instead. Oh, one more thing: Buy Poke Balls before you come back! Dusk Balls will work, along with Timer and Ultra Balls.

u must beat elite four. and you'll get a message from your rival and telling you to get to the boat in snowpoint city.

It will take you to the small area at the top of the map, you have to work your way round the island metting a guy in red (cant remember his name) might be Blaze. He will try to get the 'Treasure' in Stark mountain (where Heatren is) he will take a red gem i think and leave (once you arrive there) and you will leave... once you return heatren will be waiting i think hes lvl 70 so be ready or 60 i dont know.,
