How do u get a black and white picture with some color

how do u get a black and white picture with some color.

i want to be able to do this but i just dont kno how to

like some ppl have there shoes colored but the rest of the picture is black and white

its really cool

plz help?!

people usually use photoshop to change it, they make the whole picture black and white, then color whichever part they want.

there's a few ways to do this.

first, you can take a black and white photo and use special paint to tint the parts you want in color.

second, you can do this really easily with a digital photo. just make two layers in a photoshop program, and make the top one black and white while leaving the bottom one colored. then erase the top layer to reveal the colored bottom one.
