I am a psychic and will say to not use one at all.  They are bad and only contact bad spirits and lie to you.  So when you think your talking to Granny,,it's not.

you have to have more than 2 of you and a glass you dont mind breaking, also you each have to really believe in what your doing and not be scared. if you do manage to get it to work properly the glass should break at the end if it works and the glass does not break be careful this can mean that the spirit world is still open and spirits can come and go as they please if you believe in that sort of stuff. be careful when doing the ouija you never know what you might get yourself into.

Supposedly you get a couple of your friends and you all put a hand on the component of the ouija board whih is used for letter selection.  You all should not move your hands or push the board.  Supposedly, the letter-selector will move without any force being exerted on it, and that is a ghost contacting you.  Scientists explain this by saying that your body has involuntary, tiny 'spasms' every now and then which results in the 'letter-selector' moving.

Just look it up and go through the process. However it is pure bunkum and just yourselves moving the glass as many many people have proved - see Derren Brown int he UK for his 'mock' sceance. Basically what happens is this - one of the people will either twitch the glass involuntarily or move towards some letter they want to start with without even thinking, as soon as people sense the movement, they all follow. Then spelling takes over and thats the 'spirits' - its a parlour game!

Waste your time with something better. Loads of people will come on here and tell you its witchcraft and you will summon spirits.

The more people you have, the more it will "work". Since the ouija board works on ideomotor effect, the more fingers pushing on the planchette the more active it will be. From what I hear from those who have used it, three people seems to be a minimum for a good effect while four or more usually works well.
