How do u get a "line drive" serve?

I am still learning my overhand serve and I want to get it perfect. Thanks for helping me on my other questions.

Stand close to the line and snap your wrist straight forward. You will let your opponent taste nasty line drive.

I would say that if you are still learning your overhand serve, then you will want to perfect that before trying to hit the "line drive" serve. Being a good server doesnt mean hitting it hard to your opponent, but being able to serve to your opponents weakest spot. Study your opponent when your team serves, find their weak link, and exploit it by hitting that mark when you serve.  Once you have perfected that the "line drive" serve will be easy.  Its a matter of force, once you know how to control the amount of force you have on the ball you will just be able to do it, and the practice from your basic overhand serve will help you control it.

Well I dont know what you know but you seem like you know a lot already so what works for me is first picking your spot of attack and knowing this is a big key I then stare at the ball in the palm of my hand in my left cause im right when I toss the ball up I do not toss it too high this sometimes especially when first trying to learn makes your serve float and go long I toss it maybe 2-3 feet above my right shoulder and then "I go get it" when I see the ball start it motion back down, keeping the ball around my shoulder your hand or should i say your palm is basically slapping the ball like a reflex which for me has proved to be a very effective and deadly serve. Very easy... when you are serving... strike the ball dead center with the heal of your hand, and follow-through with all your might.
