You should bring a sponge and if you like you could add your washing poder to it with some water then start scrubbing the pee with it until it disappears and the smell is no longer there.

Then get any perfume you got and spray it over the place where your cat pissed. Cats hate perfumes and so it won't p**s on that place again.

you can never take out the entire smell. the cats can smell the scent even when you cant. iether throw it out, or keep pepper on the cushion to keep them from smelling it.

Here is my mom's story with her brand new couch cushions that her equally new cat urinated on in several spots.

Mom tried hand cleaners, sponges all of those home remedies and nothing worked.

She took them to the dry cleaners three times and that didn't work.

Finally she just took them to a laundry mat and tossed them one at a time into those big 5 load machines.  Worked like a charm.  The beauty of the BIG machines is that there's enough water for 5 loads of laundry, so one cushion will really really get a good amount of water washing through it.  The only big question is if the material your cushion is made of can take it.
