I tried heat gun and blow torch, works but removes about 1 inch at a time!!!!!!! Help, I also tried industrial strength stripper. What now, I need some results faster. Don't want to carpet cause for the first time in 10 years i am getting seapage, thats why I tore everything out to begin with.

  1. Some tool rental businesses will rent a scraper. It looks like a large floor buffer but has steel blades on the bottom. That would be the easiest approach.

  2. vinyle and tile remover machine(scraper) as above. also have you tried 4 inch wide blade scraper, also known as floor scraper tool or wall paper remover w/interchg. blades. try it w/ heat gun. under $10 tool.

  3. Carbide grinding disc will work, but it makes a big mess. A nice sharp scraper and lots of elbow grease will do the trick.
