How do u get photoshop?

I want photoshop on my computer and it is a windows 2000 computer....any help?

You have to purchase it. You do have several options. The first one is to get Photoshop Elements, but check the system requirements to see if the current version will run on a Windows 2000 machine (go to www.Adobe.com and look for Photoshop Elements and the Minimum System Requirements info). Elements is cheap; the current version will run you less than $100 as the first person said. But you may need an older version of it to run on Windows 2000.

The other thing you can do is get Gimp, from www.gimp.org. It is legal and free, OpenSource software. Be aware that it runs differently from Photoshop so can be confusing to use. But it does have a good support, forums and user groups and even a couple of books. It is the closest thing to full Photoshop that you can get for free.

You buy it... try Best Buy or Circuit City. Photoshop Elements is the cheapest version out there is great for a beginner... you should be able to find Photoshop Elements 6.0 for about $90.

Some people might download a cracked version as a torrent, but that's illegal so don't do that whatever you do.
