how do u get rid of head lice?

special shampoo from the drug store.  Alsos, wash all bedding, towels, etc in HOT water.

my child got them what i did was wash her hair in the lice shampoo.

i left it in for 20 mins.  cause they get used to it and take longer to die.

then i went and bought a metal comb in the pet isle in the store very cheap.  when she was a sleep got out most of the eggs by hand the next day i washed her hair with conditioer.  any kind,  and got out most of the eggs that were left.  and just keep checking to see if there was any eggs left.  till they were gone i would use that comb everyday to see if there was any lice left in her head for about 2 weeks.  good luck

If you find lice or nits on your child, use a shampoo that gets rid of lice such as Nix or Rid. Follow the directions on the bottle. Also make sure to get rid of their pillow and wash all the bedding.

Rinsing the hair with vinegar will get rid of eggs but it won't get rid of live lice. You can remove with a lot of combing but the shampoo is a lot quicker.
