  1. The key ingredient to gaining muscle mass is to add lots of PROTEIN to your daily diet. You should have 1.0-1.5 grams of protein for each pound you weigh. Protein helps your body to build lean muscle after your workout. Speaking of workout, I would start with simple toning exercises (low weight/more reps) to get your muscles used to being worked. After about 2 weeks you can go to the strengthening exercises (high weight/low reps). This will break down your muscles fast and with all the protein in your diet, when they heal it will be solid lean muscle mass.

Push-ups are very good. But most people think of the simple ones, but there are many different types of push-ups that work different parts of your upper body. Wide, Regular, Diamond, Feet elevated, one-handed, all of these work different parts of the chest/arms. And you will find yourself using muscles you didn't even know you had. As for lower body, running is the Holy Grail of workouts. But for strength, lunges and squats work perfectly.

Running will no doubt help you get a six pack, but that is not the only thing to focus on. Running mainly works the lower abs and burns the extra fat off your stomach. In order for a six pack to really show, you need your body fat % to be 11% or lower. STAY AWAY FROM HIGH FAT FOODS! Try running a mile a day, I do that much myself. But if you are doing it on an empty stomach, just make sure that you have a good meal right afterwards. Otherwise your body will burn your muscle instead of fat. You also must work your upper abs, which is pretty easy. I recommend just simple crunches, body crunches, reverse crunches, and something called the "bicycle crunch"

  2. lift heavy weights with hard intensity 3 times a week while eating a high protein high clean carb diet.

also, you must get your body fat down under 6-7%

and what the h**l do you mean by funnel ? what funnel?

  3. That "funnel" is called obliques. Look into twisting lower ab workouts to define those.

Best for chest is called a "plate squeeze"... look up details on these.

  4. you need to become HARD

  5. Those funnel muscles are obliques. Do side crunches, side bends and such. I'd suggest an overall decent workout routine so you're body isn't disproportionate. Go to bodybuilding.com. It's not necessarily for bodybuilders, and it has lots of workout information and it will tell you how to get to whatever level of buff you want, not necessarily Mr. Olympia style.
