Please don't do what Brother Otter said. It will make it worse.

Try putting it in the freezer for about an hour. This will make the wax harder, then you will be able to pick it off easier. Or you can try using ice to harden it as you pick it off.

A warm iron and paper towels will do the job nicely, won't even need to wash after.

Heat up your iron to warm to med warm setting and then put a paper towel on top of the wax and melt the wax by pressing the iron on the paper towel, moving and replacing the towel as needed.

The wax will melt off. Turn the temperature up slowly till the iron reaches a hot enough temp to melt the wax.

If the fabric and dye will stand it, by pouring boiling water through the wax spot once you've carefully picked off the big pieces.

Otherwise, take it to a dry cleaner.
