How do u install a jvc gr-d93 camcorder to windows xp with no disc?

i don't have the disc to install the camera to my computer but when i plug in the usb cord the instructions say the camcorder can't be installed because theres no disc and i can't install it manually because the brand doesn't show in there what can i do now?

  2. If you want to transfer your video to your PC you need to use firewire, not USB. If your PC hasn't already got one you'll need to install a firewire card. They're cheap, easy to install and readily available. You'll also need a firewire cable.

    Once everything's connected you can capture and edit the video with Windows Movie Maker (should already be on your PC).
