i guess having a lot of friends, having excellent communication skills, everyone knows you for something particular, who cares about being popular though? is it that big of deal?

You know you're popular when you walk down the hallways and everyone throughs you a smile or a wave. Also, you know you are when people of every "group" feel they can hold a conversation with you.

To be popular, you need to kind of let it happen on your own. Just be nice to EVERYONE regardless of who they are. People might "worship" you when you're a bitchy judgmental sorta girl but I very much doubt that gets you very far.. You wont really have respect from others they will just be scared of what you might say or do next which is good for the power but you can have power without being meen haha

Just because you hangout with the "cool" kids, doesn't mean you are popular...

Oh &, there and two kinds of popular ...

One: Everyone knows you (because of either good or bad reputatation)

Two: Everyone likes you (because you are really friendly and outgoing)
