It's going to take time. You're not going to know right away if it's the real thing but relax and wait you'll find out. But until then be careful and you'll know when you can really trust him. REMEMBER actions speak louder than words. Think about it. What does he do that makes you believe what he is telling you?

Check how his friends treat and view you - hints on what he tells them: fling vs. real thing.

Real deal takes you home to meet his parents, makes plans in advance and keeps promises, makes time for you even when busy, and really listens to you.

Just using... everything is on HIS schedule which may leave you feeling left out, waiting around, etc.  You will FEEL this empty type feeling.

The real deal makes you feel excited, inspired, wishing to be a better person.  He encourages you, applauds you and your achievements, and admires your accomplishments.  

Just using... puts you down, embarrasses you, teases you in a 'not fun' way, etc.

It is not what a man says as he can say anything especially if he is having s*x with you.It is what his actions are.If he protects you and respects you and takes you out to meet his friends and family.Does he speak kindly to you and you do things together as a couple?If not and he only invites you over at night and when noone is around then you have a big problem,And need to get away from him,/
