How do u know the ipod touch has been jailbroken?

coz I took my ipod touch to get it fixed but when they fixed it I found a game app,an installer app and a big Z app that's soo awkward they are authorized service providers I asked this question alot but I don't think they jail broke it coz when I connect to itunes it says v1.1.4 (with software upgrade)

Ohhh they jailbroke it alright.  They used Ziphone and jailbroke it on the 1.1.4 version. You are going to show on your home screen the Installer icon, and the Ziphone's Blog icon.  Still when you connect it to itunes it will show as a regular ipod touch.  If they are authorized service providers as you said it is very weird they would do this without your consent.  I would investigate why did they do it, it doesn't affect your ipod at all (on the contrary) but it is not right for them to do this with out your consent.
