  1. Well three things to consider.

    1. is charting your temps.

When your temp rises that means you have ovulated. Usually too late to conceive but can help you track your cycle and know for sure that you are ovulating.

    2. Track temp at the same time as your cervical fluid. High quality cervical fluid is a great sign that you are about to ovulate and should bd to increase your chances of conceiving during this time.

    3. There are ovulation predictor kits (OPK) you can buy in your local target or drug store. Similar to an HPT you pee on it and when you get a positive it means you will ovulate in the next 12-48 hours. If you have fairly regular cycles these are not bad but of course the cost can add up.. if you are irregular try charting first as they add up as you are trying to catch that magic window.

www.fertilityfriend.com has great tutorial and info on charting.

Also the book Taking Charge of your Fertility is a great resource.

  2. Charting your basal body temperature (morning waking temp) is really the only way to CONFIRM ovulation. OPKs are great at predicting ovulation. I use both! Go to fertilityfriend.com . It is a free charting website. They tell you everything! I don't know when I would have gotten pregnant without it!!
