i dont know how, but all i know is that you shouldnt use petroleum jelly...yes its a natural moisterizer but it doesnt last long enough, and after a while of using it it will dry out your skin (or your lips) and then you think you need more...thats just a scam that the people that made the lotions with this stuff in it...

I think if you just heat up some beeswax and mix it with a color of blush/eyeshadow it will be a good lipgloss that isnt sticky... =D
