  1. I would get two barrels and get two long poles and make an x out of them

if you dont have things handy  you could use pretty much anything that is going to hold the poles in place as long as it doesnt make them too high

if you dont have regular poles, you could get some platic pipes and tie them in place or a couple 2 x 4 pieces of wood and mail them together in the middle to make the x

you dont have to realy spend a lot of money - be creative - ou could even use some  big thick tree branches

  2. landscape timbers

  3. At my yard we use straw bales then rest rest poles on the sections or just jump the whole bale, we also rest a pole on two plastic chairs of which we have cut the arms of to make it safer.

  4. Not really you can use them for jumping over !

get 4x4s 2 for each side then get 2x4 for the middle,

or you can just get 4x4s and then get 2x 10s cut them out for the stand one on each side on the bottom,

no longer then a foot and a half,, and round off the tops and the bottoms.

It easier if I could draw them.

Look up a few sites On horse jumps and just copy them...

  5. get two barrels  or cement blocks and cross the poles like an x.works at our barn.
