How do u make pictures black and white?

i know it sounds stupid, but i cant figure it ou. i want it like this picture

There are a number of ways you can achieve this. Either use a photo editing program on your computer like Photoshop to change the color, use a photo manipulation program that can be found in the kiosks at places like WalMart and print it there, or your digital camera might have the capability to snap the photo in BnW rather than in color.
