how u make pina coladas? an where do u get the stuff to make it? can u buy coco lopez cream of coconut at the grocery store?

Yes you can…. And I have the best recipe ever…

Canned pineapple chunks ( get way more than you think you’ll need)

Coco Lopez ( squeeze bottle if you can find it, and again more than you think you’ll need)

A good (Bacardi) silver rum

1) Fill a standard blender ¾ the way with ice ( bagged is best)

2)~ 2-3 shots of rum

3) Vary the amount of pineapple and coconut ( about 1/3 of the can) to suit your taste ( mine is ~ 1/3 more pineapple than coco) either way the blender should be close to full at this point

4) Splash of cream or milk or vanilla ice cream (optional) this makes a huge difference.

5) Blend by pulses and serve in a fancy glass.

Try this simple recipe:

1 serving

3 oz light rum

3 tbsp coconut cream

3 tbsp crushed pineapples

Put all ingredients into an electric blender with 2 cups of crushed ice. Blend at a high speed for a short length of time. Strain into a collins glass and serve with a straw.
