How do u make your own pool room?

Hi,first thing purchase a table than you will know the size of the room that is required.

Nothing worse playing with limited space and having to use a cut down cue to play in tight spots.

With slate tables the slate is heavy and takes 3 men to lift one slate section (Tables usually come in three sections)

The next important thing to look at is the floor.

Sitting on a timber floor is not sufficient because the table will change levels depending on the weather so look at concrete base or if the floor is timber build :Piers" under the timber floor and position them under the 6 or8 legs.

Try and get some one who knows how to level a table .

Doing it this way you know it will remain in level and you will have a lot of good nights with the boys.Another little tip.If your table is a nice polisher vanish finish get the boys to take off there belts or they will mark your nice table.

Any room will do, as long as your pool table will fit and there is a distance , equal or greater, of your longest pool cue, from all edges of the table to the nearest wall or obstruction.
