  1. go into control panel, select add/remove programs. that will permenently delete programs so they are unrecoverable

  2. you can't

  3. highlight the file the press shift+del

  4. Like people have been saying you cant completely get rid of the file or program without having to fromat your hard drive and start again fresh.

Once you have deleted from add/remove programs and recycle bin then go and search it in your database and see if it is completey gone. If not then it will come up and you can delete it then. The annoying thing is once you have uninstalled the program of file won't run but the name or whatever will be lurking around whcih sucks so if you are trying to hide something then delete it from search files and folders.

Also completely clean your history. Tools>Internet Options- Delete History. Also delete all your cookies as well as you can be tracked.

  5. Download this program: http://www.tolvanen.com/eraser/

and use it to delete the files you want to remove. It's free, and you should have no problem.

  6. you can delete it from your computer, but someone good could still find it. the only definite way is to format the hard drive, and to do that you need the windows disk

  7. A quick rundown of windows file system.

When a file gets written to disk there is a record in an allocation table indicating WHERE that file resides and the size of the file.  This reserves that spot for the file so it doesn't get over written.  When you delete the file in windows your actually only deleting the record in the allocation table and the file is still there.  The file will eventually be over-written by another file.

Before the file is over written it can be easily recovered with some very simple tools.  AFTER it is over written it becomes more difficult to recover, and will most likely be impossible without hardware.

An over written file can be recovered with hardware and this is a rough idea of how that works.  When a file is written to disk it is going to look something like this..

10111100010101000101011   Which is actually bumbs on the disk that are created and removed with a magnet.  But there is slight impressions that stay in the disk even after over writting that can help a piece of hardware determine what was there BEFORE the over-write.

Permanent is almost impossible without destroying the harddrive.  You can use a tool that repeatedly writes to the area of disk the file is on.  It will make multiple passes with 1's, 0's and a combination of the 2.  This will get you as close to permanent as you're likely to get.

Here's a free tool released under GNU which means it's open source.

  8. Drag it to trash and empty your trash.

  9. depends where it is. if you want to delete your internet browsing history, you need to go to internet options (in internet explorer properties) and use clear history function. if it is a file on your system, delete it as usual, open recycling bin on your desktop and choose 'empty the recycling bin' option. that removes it from your computer permanently.

  10. what do u want to delete?

  11. it called double write over and you can get utilitys that can help do it like ccleaner or nirsoft.net

  12. Nothing can be permanantly destroyed or deleted on a pc. When you use a software or drag it to trash all that happens is that it loses it's shortcut and path to the folder on the hard drive. NOTHING can be permanently deleted, sorry. Plus files are written in layers so another layer wil go above your file eventually but can still be retrives that's why back-up programs work so well.

    Hope this helps.

  13. When you put things in your recycle bin, they just get put aside and its easy for someone with the right software to find them

Download a file shredder, CCleaner is good, it will delete and overwrite files loads of times with blank bites, making it impossible to retrieve

  14. maybe try deleting everything on your recycling bin

  15. OMG you're screwed. There's no way you can get rid of it. Geez the police will hunt you down. RUN RUN RUN!!!!!!

  16. nekkid pics huh?

  17. Jesus! It irritates me how people don't bother to spell out words correctly anymore.

  18. Wipe it with file shredder behond recovery

Wipe your internet history, click on privacy tab

  19. It's complicated to actually permanently delete something from your computer, but if you don't want it to be found by others, download CCleaner. And when you empty your recycle bin, do it with CCleaner. It will delete those files and you won't be able to find them, unless pro comes along.
