How do u place an edited image over another image on photoshop?

I want to edit a image and put it over another one.How do i do that?

  1. I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but I can try to help.

    If you want to be able to see both photos at once, change the opacity of the top image to 50%.

    Make sure both photos are on different layers, so you can move/edit one and not the other.


  2. If you're asking what I think you are, you'd just paste the image into a new layer on top of it, then you have to either use the magic wand tool of the lasso tool to cut out the background. Then use the move tool to move your image around.

    This would only work if youre trying to put a picture of a giant bunny into a field, and theyre two separate images. Somthing along those lines.

  3. If you are using the  layers option, each image has its own layer. when you are ready to merge them, go to "merge" and they will merge. i would make a new layer copy of the merge before i merge it permanently or you won't be able to separate them again if you want to edit.
