How do u promote your yahoo-group without getting points taken away?

First make your site look sharp.  Choose custom colors a good photo and welcoming message.   Click edit beside description on your cover page then scroll down and you will find where to do all that. Send an email to all your friends and relatives with the URL pasted in  explaining the group and inviting them to join and asking them to forward the message to their friends and relatives asking the same.  It takes a  long time to build a good group, So good luck.

do not spam your site in area's that prohibit it

do not send it to other groups unless they allow it

add the link to your profiles and mail signatures

create additional free sites and add the pronote code to those sites, which will direct a set of people not of yahoo

be sure your title has ket search words to your topic/ category
