  1. Ivanovitch. The "IC" at the end of a name in Serbia is pronounced "itch". Also, the English letter "J" is pronounced as a "Y" because there is no J in the Serbian language. So Jelena Jankovic is pronounced "Yelena Yankovitch". Hope that helps!
