  1. On your Macbook, you can use iMovie, Final Cut, or Adobe Premiere (with Quicktime 7 installed) to edit all your video segments into one large movie.

When exporting your movie, each program has individual yet simple procedures to ensure your video works with YouTube.  In Final Cut, export your video using Quicktime in the default settings.   In iMovie, Share the video in the Medium size.  In Adobe Premiere, you can export in Quicktime' default settings (if you have Quicktime 7), or you can export to another format that YouTube accepts.  * You might need to register your Quicktime 7 to make it Quicktime Pro for proper use in Adobe Premiere, and it only costs $30.

If you are editing HD video and have problems getting YouTube to accept and process the video properly, export your HD movie to SD, and follow the export setting above.  The issue should be solved.  * You may need to letterbox your 16:9 video in the 4:3 NTSC aspect ratio in order for your HD video to appear properly on YouTube.  This can be done in the Quicktime settings when choosing the format during export.

  2. you have to add all the clips into a new time line via imove or Final Cut Studio
